I'd like to write this as if I were Janna, but she has much better wit than me. You'd know instantly it wasn't her and just little ole Lisa sneaking in again. Janna informed me yesterday that she has no desire to update her blog. Her main excuse was that it takes tooooooooo long to upload pictures. While she wallows in that sorrow I feel the duty falls to me to update her friends and family about their lives. I know a thing or two about how they are doing. Maybe we spend a little too much time together. Truth is yesterday I was rummaging through her computer stealing pictures she'd taken of my kids and found some cute ones that you'll never see unless I post them. Actually, that's not true. She has a picasa web album that she puts them on. Some of the following comes from pics I have taken as well.

Connor at my mother-in-law's house for my son Jacob's 2nd bday party. He and Jacob got a bit dirty playing in the backyard. Every now and then they'd take a break to devour chips. 5.26.08

Truth be told I don't know why Brady's hair is like this. It's with other pictures of a visit from their friend Alia who had spiked hair. Maybe they were trying to be twins, but it was cute.

Janna put down one of the Twilight books (much to Justin's delight) to visit while at the pool. She's keeping an eye on Davin in the hot tub. Angels Camp 7.17.08

Uh-oh! Somebody got into some lotion. Cute Connor. My son is not a good influence on Connor. They usually do stuff like this together.

One day Justin walked in the bathroom to find Jacob squeezing toothpaste onto the wall. I walked in another day to find them dumping Janna's mouthwash into the toilet. This pic was taken just recently.

This was taken in the past few months I think. I just liked it. Connor and Justin.

Here are the troublemakers: Connor and my Jacob. They are 2 1/2 months apart. When we call them this it is out of love and pure fact. They are troublemakers when they're together. But remember, they are only 2. We need to remeind ourselves of that daily. They even answer to troublemaker when we call for them. "We right here" they say.

Colonial Ward Trunk-or-Treat 10.31.08:

Blake was Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks, Brady a fighter pilot (I think), Maryn a witch (she didn't seem too happy about her costume even though she looks adorable. Apparently, she felt Lexie's witch costume was cooler.), not sure about Davin, and of course Connor is a clown.

Every year they hold a Halloween party in their backyard for the ward. Blake and Maryn were able to invite their friends from school. This was the first year for it in their new house. Usually it's held the Monday before Halloween, but due to Justin being out of town it was moved to 11.3.08. Justin formed a band to perform that night with a few people he works with along with a woman from our ward to be the lead singer and a friend of his. They'd been practicing for months. Justin played the bass guitar. Maryn sang 1 of the 6 songs they sang that night. She rocked!!!! I wish we had it on video to put on here. You'll just have to take my word for it. We couldn't find the camera to take more pictures of the party and the band.

Janna and Justin removed all the doors from their new house to be painted. This shot looks awesome. Janna is hard at work.

Our elementary school had a children's theatre company come and help the kids put on a play last week. They held auditions on Monday, practiced each night through Friday and performed once Friday night and again on Saturday. Maryn got a leprechaun part. This traveling company had the sets and costumes for all the parts. Many of the kids in our ward go to this school and many were in the play. It was so cute. We were amazed at how well the play turned out for only being done in a few days. Maryn did an awesome job. She's such a natural.
